Monitoring

We are seeing a significant recovery in delivered emails to Microsoft accounts. Deliveries to some domains continue to fail, however we will continue to retry these deliveries on our normal retry schedule. Microsoft has indicated they are slowly rebalancing traffic to mitigate the issue so we should continue to see increased delivery rates over the next hour. We will continue to monitor the situation.

Update

We are continuing to see high volumes of failed email deliveries to Microsoft hosted email accounts across the platform. Microsoft is still having a major outage as per their status page:

Trackops will continue to attempt to retry failed email deliveries as per our normal "temporary" temporary failed email schedule. At this time you do not need to attempt to resend emails that have not arrived to users with Microsoft hosted email accounts.

Identified

We have identified an issue with Microsoft email systems, which are failing to receive emails and responding with a "4.3.2 Temporary server error" message. It currently appears as if multiple Microsoft hosted email systems (including Outlook 365) are currently down, as per a Microsoft post on their X account here: https://x.com/MSFT365Status

We are currently looking into the situation.
